Vote for our February Book

It is set up so you can vote every 24 hours; if you really want a particular book, take advantage of that fact.

What should we read for February?

Hey! Five days left before we open a can of discussion on HOOT. Who (hee hee) isn't done yet? I know Kristin isn't, but she'd not even a presence on this board yet. I will force her later this week.

I'm done. I even took notes! Made me feel like a grad student again.

And who voted for I Love You Forever?

Me! I'm not done! Neither is Meera... Hoo! I'm tattling... And yeah, I might have voted for I Love You Forever. The lyrical phrasing and careful control of meter are marks of a true craftswoman.

I'm not done either, so if I'm late to pick you (Sarah) up at the airport on Friday evening, don't be surprised...

What's up with the overachiever business of finishing early and taking notes? This is NOTHING like the grad school I experienced...

I tried to vote for Love You Forever (after casting my initial "real" vote), but it wouldn't let me. Smart poll.

Unless things change (and I don't think everyone has voted yet) it looks like the Sleator book for February and the Lynch for March.

Confession: I just voted for House of Stairs again, just to see if it would let me. Not to skew the voting or anything, although I think Sleator for Feb and Lynch (who is also my boyfriend, thanks, Meera) for March sounds good to me.
