I can't tell you how hard it has been to keep myself away from Hoot until this very day. I knew I would rush through it if I didn't, and then my comments would not be fresh and exciting, but mostly bullshit, which was how I got through most YA Touchstone discussions. But we'll have none of that, thank you!

I'm trying to pace myself so I don't finish way before the 15th, or I'll forget things. I'm about 1/2 through right now and trying to decide if it is a tried and true Child Lit book or a "famous adult writer having a whack at kiddie books." Not convinced either way yet.
We also need to start fielding suggestions for next month's book. OPEN SESAME!
