Anyone know anything about the Symposium this year? I did a quick search but could not find anything.
I haven't picked my copy of Kalpana's Dream yet; my copy is on hold but we're having ice issues and I don't want to brave the highways. People here don't know how to drive in icy conditions and I'm not risking their inexperience!

I was looking the symposium up yesterday (coincidence!), but I couldn't find anything either. Are you planning on going? I wonder what the theme will be.
If they get some good speakers, I'd like to come--and don't they announce the theme of the next symposium at the very end of each one?
I wonder who is in charge of setting it up?

I don't remember the 2007 theme being announced at the closing ceremony in 2005 (I was there just before the alumni dinner thing), but maybe my memory is just failing me.
I'd imagine Bloomers will still have her paws in it, even if she's not the director anymore. She runs a damn fine symposium.
I might come, too, but it depends on cash flow and summer plans. I just quit my job, so it'll be interesting to see how we pay our bills in the upcoming months (actually, bills will be fine -- it's entertainment/saving money that we'll be pinching!).
P.S. Before anyone asks (you'd be surprised), I don't have a bun in the oven!
