Hooray for Miss Libby!

One of Simmon's Own has a book on the presses RIGHT NOW!

Take a looky-look! I don't remember who took Publishing in the fall of '03, but Alisa Libby was a demure presence among the rather whiney new recruits. She's been working away on Blood Confessions, and when I last saw her on the T, she had the first color-cover galleys.

Just a lil cheerleading for one of our Simmons alumn! Who's next, ladies?

That is fabulous! Sounds like a good read, too.

Wow, I'm tres impressed (and tres jalouse). But I took publishing that semester and I can't remember her. Give me something to go on -- what was her project? where did she sit? did we ever see her outside of class? Help!

She's thin with dark curly hair, doe eyes and glasses. Her project... hmm. I feel like it was a rural classic like Little House on the Prairie or Anne of Green Gables. She was beautifully geeky.

Any bells ringing?

Yes! I can totally picture her now. Thank you.

Still impressed. Still jealous.

Never met her, but that's wonderful! Galleys must be so exciting.
